US Chesed Liaison Officer, Part Time

US Chesed is committed to teaching and promoting the Jewish responsibility we have for our fellow human beings, encouraging and facilitating more acts of charity and kindness and inspiring our community to make a difference. The job holder will report to the Head of Chesed and be responsible for the administration of all areas within the US Chesed department including US Community Cares, Project Chesed, the Chesed Bursary Fund, Jewish Hospital Visitation and Jewish Prison Chaplaincy. This role has been created to ensure that this department runs effectively and efficiently. The successful candidate will have substantial administrative experience, be organised and methodical in their work and have an excellent telephone manner. A substantial part of your job will be to deal sympathetically and compassionately with members of the community. This role will suit an experienced administrator looking for a new and meaningful position. An ability to work effectively with volunteers is essential.
